Junior Adventure Camp

Dear Parents and Friends,

In 2011 we started the Junior Adventure camp. It was the best decision in the world. 
What a joy it was to learn and grow alongside the amazing children who participated in the program. 

Once again in during the weeks of August 12^th to the 25^th of 2012 Bear Creek Outdoor Centre will become Adventure Camp! Introducing our young children to the joys of outdoor activities, skills, independence and lifelong friendships that can be found in few other places than at camp.

The 2012 program will be limited to 36 children. The camp will be for children ages 7-11 and children will be divided into cabins by age and gender.  Campers will participate in traditional camp activities including:

Swimming, Canoeing, Camp Craft, Arts and Crafts, Overnight Campout, Low Ropes and Climbing Wall activities, Mountain Biking, Sports and Field Games, Campfires and Cookouts.

Matt and I are excited to begin this program and develop a relationship with your children that will grow with them in the years to come. We are already making plans for the out-trips that they will take when they are 12, 14, and older. We truly want this camp to be a home and a place to nurture your children and our own as they aspire to new and developing challenges in the years to come.
