Canoe Tripping Camp

Canoe Tripping Camp is designed for campers 12-17. As campers grow, they will experience new adventures and gain independence and leadership.

In 2012 we will be offering the following canoe tripping camps.

Explorers 12-13 year olds (August 12 - 18) or (August 12 - 25)

The 1-week Explorers will spend 2 days in camp training and preparing for a 4-day Madawaska or Petawawa river canoe trip before returning to camp in time for final supper and campfire. This is a wonderful introductory program.

2-week Explorers will spend 9 days in camp and 4 days on trip. 

 
Adventurers 14-15 year olds (July 29 - August 11)

The 2-week Adventurers will participate in an 8-day canoe trip on the Coulonge River honing their canoe tripping and moving water skills.

 
Voyageurs 16 year olds (July 15 - July 28)

The 2-week Voyageurs will participate in an 8-day Algonquin Park or Dumoine River trip. Voyaguers will receive training and certification in Wilderness First aid and Paddle Canada Canoe Tripping.
